International Greentech & Eco Products Exhibition & Conference (IGEM)

IGEM was held from 14-17 October 2010 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Hitachi had occupied total 6 booths at Energy Pavilion. One of the objectives of Hitachi’s participation is to promote Hitachi products.

There were 10 products featured during this 4-day exhibition included H25 Gas Turbine, Amorphous Transformer, Oil Free Screw Compressor, Hitachi Clear Ballast, Membrane Bioreactor (MBR), Electric Drive Machines, Energy Solution for Growth Market, Green IT, Smart Grid and Intelligent Water System. This 4-day exhibition had drawn 86372 visitors from 59 different countries.

Hitachi was honored to have booth visitations from Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin, King of Malaysia, YAB Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib Bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak, Prime Minister of Malaysia, and YAB Tan Sri Datuk Mustafa Mansur, President, Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers.

Mr. Takashi Hatchoji, Executive Vice President & Executive Officer of Hitachi Group Chief Environmental Strategy Officer was invited to present a speech on 16 October during International Green Technology and Purchasing Conference. The speech title was “Eco Conscious City: Japan Experiences and Hitachi Actions”.

The technology panels displayed at Hitachi's booth attracted more than 1000 visitors from various trading companies, universities and traders. A total of 1235 visitors visited the Hitachi booth and shared their eco-friendly messages. These messages were attached on the Hitachi Tree board for display.
