Since I was appointed Managing Director of Hitachi Asia Ltd. in 2017 to further grow the operations of Hitachi’s businesses and expand Hitachi’s Social Innovation Business across the ASEAN region, I have been heartened to see that the impact of our technological innovations helping people lead better lives in each country.
But there is definitely more that we can contribute in ASEAN. Whether it is to improve the region’s economic well-being, create Smart Cities, address social challenges through Hitachi Social Innovation Business or Lumada - Hitachi’s advanced digital solutions for turning data into insights to drive digital innovation - we will strive towards what we have yet to achieve for the people in the region.
We will continue powering good as One Hitachi to co-create a more inclusive and sustainable society in ASEAN. Because everything we do in Hitachi points to the one thing that we want society to remember us for – powering good.
